The Challenge
After a devastating home fire, our client faced the emotional loss of their home and cherished furniture. Items like the couch held deep sentimental value, but replacing them was no simple buy-and-deliver task. Purchased in the 70s and 80s, they featured fabrics that had long since been discontinued. When we contacted the mills in Italy and Belgium for exclusive reproduction runs, the current personnel couldn’t replicate all the designs.
Our Solution
We took an unconventional but effective approach. We brought the original weaver out of retirement to personally set up the machinery for an exact replication of the original design. The client was genuinely thrilled with the results – a testament to the meaningful memories woven into the literal fabric of our homes.
